I am currently individually working on the very early stages (literature review) of my own research in musical metacreation over Alda using a pipeline of neural network models for audio processing and programming language processing.

I am looking for a thesis advisor, preferably one with interest or experience in musical metacreation, computational creativity or generative art (venues such as ICCC, AIIDE, EvoMUSART, AIMC, ICMC, ISMIR and Audio Mostly).
​
Alternatively, I consider conducting a research involving the novel integration of ideas from different areas of computer science, such as parameterized algorithms and numerical algebraic geometry, in machine learning. Such integrations have so far been less studied.

Other topics I am interested in include: interdisciplinary research implementing machine learning algorithms for computational science (physics, geoscience, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, etc.), computational solving of natural language logic puzzles, constraint satisfaction problems, combinatorial problems and combinatorial optimization, randomized algorithms, reinforcement learning, blockchain, post-quantum cryptography.

Among my hobbies: video games, board games, social deduction games (I regularly play Mafia in a competitive setting), creative writing, reading all sorts of books, everything science fiction, recreational mathematics and riddles, music, hiking, gazing at clouds and stars.
